NURSING BRAS
A lactating mother's life is not an ordinary case-to-case basis. In fact, it's one great example of multi-tasking, doing all the things at the same time. Normally, the lactating mother would wash the bottles, do the laundry, cook, and feed the baby. With everything coming off spontaneously, she needs a durable and reliable bra that will come off easily so as to feed the baby instantly.
This is where the nursing bra comes in.
A nursing bra is specifically made for lactating mothers, to provide ease and comfort when feeding the baby. It also gives instant access to the nipples enabling the mother to breastfeed the baby without having to remove her bra.
However, having a nursing bra is not enough to resolve the problem of breastfeeding the baby while doing other things at the same time. You still have to consider the right material that makes nursing bra an effective tool for easier breastfeeding.
Here are some tips:
1. Consider your breast size.
Keep in mind that breast size do change during pregnancy and post-maternity days. And so, the breast size you have before pregnancy may differ when you are into the second trimester of your pregnancy, and may even increase or decrease up to the time when you are already breastfeeding your baby.
And so, the best time for you to buy a nursing bra is during the second up to the last trimester of your pregnancy. This is because your breasts are already at their largest size and that your older bras may no longer fit well.
2. Consider the size.
When choosing a nursing bra, you should take note of its size. It should be large enough to give room for nursing pads. But do not neglect the support that you need as well in a nursing bra.
3. Know its features.
You should go for a nursing bra that has an easy-to-remove hook flaps. Take note that you are not merely wearing a nursing bra just for the heck of it. What counts most is the accessibility that you have on your nursing bra that enables you to feed the baby at once.
4. Consider added features.
If you want to reserve some milk before you get down to doing household chores, then you might want to consider a nursing bra that has an additional feature like a pumping system. Make sure that it offers you a free hands option.
5. Do not go for under-wired nursing bra.
It's best that you get a nursing bra that is not equipped with under wires. This will only make your breastfeeding tedious. Plus, it might even block the milk ducts giving you a hard time producing milk.
6. Avoid nursing bras that have complete opening.
This kind of nursing bra is not suitable for breastfeeding mothers because it will give you a hard time snatching your breasts back in place.
7. Consider its material.
You should choose a nursing bra that is made of breathable fabric. This means that the cups should allow some air to pass through. Basically, the best material for a nursing bra is cotton, though some manufacturers are considering the use of new kinds of synthetics that offer air passage just the same.
8. Do not buy many nursing bras at the same time.
It is best that you do some testing first. Buy one nursing bra first then observe if it is good enough for your needs. If you liked it, then by all means buy yourself three or more.
Indeed, nursing bra may look just like the other ordinary bra but because of its special function, there are so many things to consider first before buying one. So, it is best to keep these pointers in mind so that you'll not end up being frustrated. Remember that your baby can sense your emotions, and so, it might frustrate your baby too. With just a mere neglect on the right features of a nursing bra, you end up with so many frustrations instead.

A Sports Bra Could Stop Your Breasts From Becoming Saggy And Unsightly!
If you're the type of woman who loves to keep herself in perfect shape, you'll know how uncomfortable a loose fitting bra can be.
Since your breasts don't contain any intrinsic structural support, the motion caused by exercising can result in damage and pain.
First Know Your Body...
To know how sports Bras can help you, it's important to know a little about how your breasts are structured. There's something called Cooper's Ligaments that are the primary supporting structures for your breasts. Secondary support is provided only by the skin, which can easily be stretched through constant loading.
The result is what every woman dreads - sagging breasts. Sports bras help to reduce breast movement, which limits not only the breast pain but also the irreversible stretch of your skin and Cooper's Ligaments, thus preventing your breasts from sagging.
If you are large breasted, then sports bras are all the more necessary. Research has shown that breasts that are not properly supported can cause back and neck problems.
Studies have further shown that sports bras reduced breast pain and vertical movement by as much as 50% when compared to bare breasted exercise. Other types of bras too, reduced pain and vertical movement but not as much as sports bras.
Now Get To Know Your Bra
Sports bras are designed to be sturdier than regular bras, thus offering greater support for the entire chest area. They are normally made up of absorbent, stretchable fabric, like Lycra for example. This soaks up the perspiration away from the skin, thus reducing irritation.
Good sports bras have complete cups to prevent movement of the breasts in any direction. They should also have wide, non-elastic straps and covered fasteners, to prevent rubbing against any part of the body.
You can easily find a wide range of great sports bras online. They're designed to suit every Size and come in all shapes, types and colors.

Good Girls Guide to Buying Lingerie
With the popularity of Lingerie boutiques in shopping malls across America the stigma of buying and wearing lingerie is now a thing of the past. However for women who’ve never bought lingerie before or are still a little shy about visiting a store here’s our guide for styles you are likely to encounter.
Baby Doll Set
- A baby doll set encompasses a large category of lingerie items. Basically it’s a two piece set, consisting of a robe or loose billowy top and matching bottom. The top is always loose fitting and comes in just below the bust line, like an empire bodice. The top is very loose fitting and short, ending at or just below your rear. Baby doll sets are available in wide variety of fabrics from silk and satin to sheer lace.
- A chemise is a short flowing A-line gown that’s longer than a baby doll. The top usually has spaghetti or halter straps. The angular shape of a chemise looks good on almost every figure type. If y
ou are concerned about your mid-section look for a style that has built in figure control. Sometimes a chemise comes with a matching bottom, but this varies from style to style. The fabric choices range from patterned and solid silks to very revealing lace, so there is something for everyone’s taste.
- A camisole is female undershirt. It is loose fitting and has thin spaghetti straps that go over the shoulder. It’s usually paired with a matching bottom. Camisoles are now also available as outwear. While they are not usually worn as formal office attire, they can be worn for casual occasions.
- A corset is the opposite of a camisole. It’s a structured garment that has bones or ribs to force your body into certain proportions. The effects of a corset can be very dramatic, and can create a very enticing curvy shape. Some corsets are more difficult to wear than others, depending on how much shaping they are doing. If you’ve never worn one before choose something that’s not so difficult to get into. Corsets are also now being made as outwear. While not something you would wear to the office, they are perfect for a dinner party, club or night on the town.
Bridal Set
- A bridal set or merry widow as it’s sometimes known also covers a wide variety of items. Basically it’s a set that consists of a bra, corset or camisole top. It also has matching panties, and usually a garter belt and stockings. The styles range from silk or satin sets with full coverage to skimpy string sets with very minimal overage.
Boy Shorts
- If you’ve never heard of boy shorts think of sexy hot pants for your bedroom. They offer full coverage on the sides and some coverage on your rear. Conservative styles cover most if not all of your rear, the more daring styles give you partial coverage. Boy shorts are figure hugging or shaping, something those of us with less than perfect bodies will appreciate. They come in wide variety of fabric choices from comfortable cotton to see through lace.
Bikini
- Bikini bottoms offer full coverage on your rear, and have thin straps on the side. They are available in loose fitting of figure hugging styles in a wide variety of fabric choices.
Thong
- A thong offers full to minimal coverage in the front, and has thin sides usually 1” to ½” in width that come to a t shape in the rear. The t-shape gives you practically no coverage on your rear. Thongs are now worn just as frequently outside of the bedroom as they are in it. If you are wearing tight, or figure hugging clothing a thong is your best solution to combat visible panty line. Cotton, lycra or micro-fiber fabrics are the most comfortable for extended wear thongs.
G-String
- While the back of a thong has very minimal coverage with a narrow strip a g-string offers you no coverage, with a simple single strand or string, usually 1/8” or less in width, not for the faint of heart.
Garter Belt
- A garter belt is made of piece of fabric that wraps around your hips and usually has four straps (one for the front and back of each leg). Sometimes the straps are attached to the lower edge of a corset or camisole top. These straps attach to the top of stockings, holding them up. The proper way to wear a garter belt is to attach the stockings first, then put on your panties. While this may look strange you’ll understand why the first time you need to visit the bathroom.

Reward Yourself with Luxurious Lingerie!
As women, we spend most of our waking hours serving others - our mates, our bosses, our children, and even our parents. On our mental checklist of priorities, our needs are all too often relegated to the bottom of the list. Over time, neglecting our own needs takes its toll, not only on us, but also on those we love. When our own proverbial well is empty, we have nothing left to give to others.
That's why it's important that you make a commitment to indulging yourself at least once a week. Carve out time to take a bubble bath, go on a nature walk, spend quiet time journaling, or going solo to a movie.
Once you've gotten into the habit of a regular indulgence, expand your self-care to include buying yourself a special gift from time to time.
While there may be many items on your wish list, there's a case to be made for indulging yourself with lingerie. In the process of serving others, we often lose sight of our womanliness. Our femininity takes a back seat to the roles we play in our lives, and beautiful lingerie can help us reconnect with our feminine nature.
Although lingerie can certainly be sexy, giving yourself the gift of lingerie isn't intended to be sexual. Whether or not you have a partner, wearing a beautiful bra and panty set can make you feel terrific. Having a supply of teddies doesn't mean you have to parade around in them. Instead, wear teddies under a dress or blouse and feel the silky smoothness against your skin. Instead of wriggling into pantyhose every workday, switch to stockings and garters. Stockings are guaranteed to make you feel womanly. Others may wonder where your secret smile is coming from, but you don't need to tell.
Remember that you don't have to have a model's body in order to enjoy lingerie. There are bustiers, teddies, stockings, and bra and panty sets made for plus-size women. There's no room in life for body shame, so enjoy your curves! Regardless of your size and shape, you're entitled to indulge your feminine nature.
We have wondrous opportunities to enjoy life's bounty. We have an obligation to ourselves and to those we love to reap both joyful moments and secret pleasures. When we do, we become more fulfilled and are better equipped to meet the demands placed on us by our families, friends, and coworkers.

7 Simple Rules To Choose A Swimsuit
Very few people, unless they live in an area where they are beach bound all of the time and it is part of the "uniform," are uncomfortable picking out a bathing suit for summer, much less wearing one. In an attempt to demystify the process and to help you find the style that will enhance your body, here are a few pointers.
Let's face it. A bathing suit doesn't cover much (some less than others) so we can't hide behind layers of fabric…or can we?
3 Don'ts For Just About Everyone:
- Boy Shorts or Boy Legs
- String tie halter tops
- The big poofy skirted suits
Don't be fooled by Boy Shorts, they look awful on nearly everyone. I wear a size 2 and they even make my hips look large.
String halter-tops fall into that category as well. Unless you have very pert breasts and not very large ones at that, the string halter is a no-no. That would be followed by the poofy (yes, that is a made-up word) skirts. Many older people will buy them out of modesty, as will heavier women. Please don't. There are other ways to cover up that won't make you look like a beached whale.
When shopping for a bathing suit, go to a store that has the tops and bottoms separately if you are buying a two-piece. Many of us are not the same size in both places and a swim suit needs to fit properly.
Speaking of two-pieces, who should be wearing what style? Say "no" to the two pieces if there is flab where there shouldn't be. OK here we go! Hold on to your swim suit!
7 Simple Rules to Choose a Swim Suit:
- Choose a color and print that is flattering to your skin tone and body type.
- To enhance small breasts, use a print on top with a top that ties behind the neck.
- To minimize large breasts, use a tank style top but use caution. Avoid the uni-breast look.
- Slim the hips by not having the suit bottom rest on the area you want to minimize.
- Long torsos will look longer in a one piece. Try a tankini with a little skin showing in the middle to shorten your body.
- Hide a stomach with a one-piece that has a little gathering at the middle (a bit extra fabric).
- No waist? Create one with a one piece that is cut out at the sides or that has a sash or belt.
For accessories:
- Flip flops or sandals with a little heel or thickness will make you look less dumpy as you walk.
- Wear a sarong or skirt to cover up your legs if you want modesty or are trying to hide your thighs when not in the water. Choose a print or color that is flattering and tie it in a location that does not emphasize a bad area.
- A cotton gauze or sheer cover up is great for getting from place to place but remember that the sun will go through it. Wear sun block at all times.

Should Preteens Wear Lingerie?
There has been much debate on this issue recently. Girls are reaching puberty at earlier ages every year. Hollywood and current fashion trends are teach girls to wear less, and show more. In nearly every aspect of our society sex appeal is taught by example. Young girls have started looking for ways to make themselves feel sexy. Some manufactures have even produced pre-teen lingerie!
Thongs and other forms of sexy undergarments have been made for girls age 5-16 by top name companies. The internet is full of articles about top companies selling pre-teen thongs, and girls being sent home from school because they were wearing thongs under short skirts. Mothers have been outraged to find preteen thongs in their favorite clothing stores. Still other parents support their daughters in their right to were sexy underwear.
Should preteens be allowed to wear Lingerie? I will let you form your own opinion about that. As for MyFirstBra.us we believe that there should be a line drawn when it come to girls of this age. It is natural for young girls to want to feel sexy during puberty, but be aware. We are talking about your daughter here, and what message do you want to convey to her?
Once your daughter starts reaching puberty, go ahead and bye her nice undergarments, pretty training bras, soft silky things that make her feel good. Let her pick out a variety of colors, and materials. But don’t force her to grow up to quickly; some things should be saved for adulthood.
As for thongs, you’re the parent, you be the judge, but remember thongs are not very comfortable for an active girl. Make your choices practical, but nice. Let her feel comfortable, and always communicate with her about puberty, sex, and her changing body.
As a final thought; Have you ever walked throughout the mall and seen young girls wearing hip hugger pants, short tight tops, and a thought provoking sayings on their rear? They show more skin and belly then they cover up. What is more attractive to potential stalkers, pedophiles, and rapist; the outer clothing or the sexy underwear that is not seen?

Lingerie: What Not To Wear
Your lingerie, what goes under your clothes, is just as important as the clothes you wear and can dramatically affect how you look. Perfectly fitting undergarments will make you appear slimmer and can take your look from ordinary to extraordinary, immediately. Because lingerie cannot be seen it is sometimes overlooked as not being important. Besides affecting the look of your outside garments wearing lingerie that we feel good in and fits well is pampering that we owe ourselves. When we feel good we look better.
1. Don't wear lingerie that is tatered or does not fit properly. Wear lingerie that is feminine and notice how good it makes you feel. It’s amazing how lacy, sexy undergarments can make you feel more attractive.
2. Avoid showing panty lines. When wearing skirts or pants that are snug enough to show panty lines wear thong underwear.
3. Choosing the perfect bra is essential. A bra that cuts into your back will cause unsightly bulges and bras that do not provide enough support will allow your bust to sag and will make you appear frumpy and older.
Push Up Bras
4. White or light colored pantyhose will make your legs appear larger and is really something that should not be worn. Bright and shimmery pantyhose will also bring attention to your legs as will black pantyhose. However, black pantyhose brings attention in a different way. Black pantyhose will make your legs appear smaller but will define the shape. So, if you do not want to show off the shape of your legs, stick to neutral colors.
5. No matter what size bust you have never wear a bra that will show your nipples. For close fitting tops wear a seamless bra or a T-Shirt Bra
6. To avoid tummy bulges choose a one-piece bodysuit

TIPS FOR BUYING A PLUS SIZE BATHING SUIT
As the temperatures rise, you may begin to think of beaches, swimming pools, and the dreaded trip to the department store to pick out swimwear in plus size. More than ever, there are a multitude of different styles, colors, and fabrics that are available to full figured women. So, how do you begin your search for the right swimwear in plus size for you? Follow these five tips the next time you hit the mall in search of the right bikini, tankini, or one-piece.
Pay For Quality
Let's face it. Swimwear in plus size can be expensive. A good quality suit can set you back $60 to $100. Yes, you can still find cheap swimwear for less than $40, but an inexpensive suit might not fit as well or be as durable. If you will be wearing a bathing suit more than three or four times, invest in one that fits well and is made to last.
Select A Style
Not too long ago, plus size women were limited to less than flattering maillots with matronly attached skirts. This was not a pretty look. These days, you can choose from sexy bikinis, flattering tankinis, sporty one-piece suits, boy shorts, and board shorts. Consider what you will be doing in your bathing suit. If you will be doing lots of swimming, you may want to choose a one piece with ample support and coverage. If sunbathing is more your speed, try the cute bikini.
Choose Your Coverage
Every woman has something about her body that she doesn't especially like. So, don't worry. Look for a style that plays up your best features and camouflages the less than perfect. If you are fair skinned, you may also want to look for additional coverage from the sun.
Consider Shopping Online
If you detest the fluorescent lights in the department store dressing rooms and the pesky saleswomen who are not especially helpful, you may want to shop for swimwear from the privacy of your own home. There are numerous online swimwear retailers that carry a wide range of styles and sizes. Most online stores have great customer service, but make sure you understand the return policy before you buy.
Click Here to Find the largest selection of Plus Size Swimwear on the web!
You Are Your Worst Critic
Give yourself a break when trying on swimwear. Not every suit is going to look perfect or even fit. Remember to find a suit that makes you feel comfortable. The last thing you want to be doing on the beach is tugging on your bottoms or sucking in your tummy. Go ahead and strut your stuff with confidence, and everyone else will think that you look great.
Until Next Time!

BUYING WEDDING LINGERIE
John Barnes Writes for http://www.lingerieexpress.co.uk/. Lingerie Express carries a vast selection of bridal lingerie and underwear for all types of sensuous woman Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=John_Barnes Bridal Lingerie ConsiderationsBy John Barnes
You've seen thousands of photos, tried on dozens of gowns. But you may have missed some small items in your search for the perfect wedding-day look -- those essential unmentionables that go under the dress. Undergarments provide the foundation necessary for your outerwear to look how it's supposed to. They can change the way your dress fits, so you'll need to purchase them before your first fitting. Read on for the lowdown on lingerie.
BRA
The bra is the ultra-undergarment, that leading piece of lingerie to which all others play supporting roles. You'll need a good, supportive bra to lift you up as you walk down the aisle and keep you comfortable for hours of dining, dancing, and posing with relatives. Many bridal boutiques offer decorative bras that are as creative -- and nearly as costly -- as the gown itself. While some of these elegant brassieres have unique proportions that can be quite useful with the right gown, make comfort your priority: You don't want insufficient support or annoying wires cutting into your sides on your wedding day. And remember, you can slip into provocative, flimsy lingerie when you take the gown off.
Before you buy, ask about the store return policy. You'll likely want to try on a few different bras with your gown, so make sure that as long as you leave the tags on, the garment is returnable for a full refund.
Regardless of which style you choose, try not to have unrealistic expectations for your bra -- or yourself -- on your wedding day. If it's too uncomfortable to wear for a five-hour stretch on a normal afternoon, why suffer?
SLIMMERS
While old-fashioned girdles have long been out of style, you might try one of the several contemporary slimming undergarments that use Lycra or Spandex rather than stiff stays or ancient whalebone. Make sure you take your bra, slimmer, stockings, and shoes to your fittings; a body-support garment will give a slightly different shape than just sucking in your gut, and changing your "support" down the road will affect the way your gown fits.
PANTIES
As with the bra and slimmer, choose panties that offer comfort over sex appeal. (There's just no way to discreetly rearrange a pair of creeping panties through a wedding gown!) If your gown has an unusually slinky cut or is made of very thin material, you may want to use pantyhose with built-in underwear.
HOSIERY
If you want to wear a fancy garter belt with hooks to hold up thigh-high hose, make sure you choose one that fits snugly around your waist -- and won't be seen through your gown! The pressure of the hose can pull an inexpensive, elastic garter belt downward, leading to wrinkly knees and an evening of endless attemts to hitch up your hose (a task nearly as hard to hide as panty-tugging).
A garter belt is a pretty superfluous item, given the variety of sleek and sexy pantyhose available. But some women feel extra sexy just knowing they're wearing one. If you go with a garter, you'll need to test it out to make sure you can bear the inconvenience.
Before your wedding, try on your gown -- with your undergarments -- under the watchful eye of a close friend. Once you're sure you won't show more than you intend to show, forget about it and have fun!
Getting the most out of your wedding day shouldn't be contingent on your lingerie, but it will definitely have an impact on your memories. Take a chance on your styles, and do it differently than all others. Make your day more special with the little details that are so memorable.

Bridal Lingerie Considerations By John Barnes
